I hope this message finds you and finds you happy healthy
and always successful. I miss the days in Feasterville in
the kitchen, in the basement and of course by the pool. I
missed your inspiration!! So i was surfing the web and low
and behold you have a phenominal web site!! Luke and I are
Divorced, and i was in a Horrible auto accident which left
me in a wheelchair for 2 years, happened on Street Rd, of
all places huh. We both know Luke was a dreamer, and not
really a hard worker, he always lacked the drive, stamina,
and dedication you required for your continued success. I am
so excited to read that you are doing just as great as ever,
You deserve everything and more!! I still cherish the tapes
i have of yours from the session/performing in philly/New
York Days!! I wish you all the happiness and success you
have worked diligently for God knows you deserve the best
and i miss you!! I will be purchasing your new Cd. I can Not
wait.....I know you must be really busy Essra, but i wanted
you to know you always have a special place in my heart.
Love and Smiles Monika Dobo/ formerly Monika Desiato

i thought
this site was for a lost tribe of
yiddish indians, 15 years ago i was driving down i-95 in
philly and i had a vision of you praying that buddhist stuff
--you were levitated-- inside my car which didn't give you
much headroom. does this mean i'm going to hell? do you know
my new client "the general". i'm working blues radio and
festivals for him. he's walking music... blessings, ia |

Hi Essra,
I wrote The Circlel's Unbroken with you through Monica
Benson years ago. Every so often someone seeks your name on
my site as one of your co-writers and wants to find you. One
of those found you on his own and then emailed me the
address. Just wanted to say hi. |

Hi Everyone,
If you notice the Guestbook a lot shorter, it's only because
it got so big, we needed to archive the old messages.
They're still here, just on separate pages now. Please check
for the links at the top of this page to read older
messages. Thanks! And dont forget to check the music page
for Essra's new T-shirts, they're really cool!
Webmaster's Commentary:In the two years I've been
webmaster for this site, Essra and I have still never met
face to face. I'm a musician. A couple of months ago, I had
a unique experience to be able to perform in one of Essra's
old haunts, John and Peter's in New Hope, PA. It was kind of
spiritual working in that club, seeing Essra's photos around
and reading her name in their printed material. It was
almost like she was there. It was cool being in a venue I
knew she'd performed in many times. Standing on that stage,
I imagined her there singing my favorite songs of hers.
Seeing all these wonderful tributes and greetings to Essra
on this site tells me "I done made a good decision" to help
Essra put up this site. Essra, her music, and her legacy is
alive and well. It is not past either, Essra continues to
creatre and perform. That's what it's all about.
Ess, I still look forward to the day we meet face to face.
How about in New York at the next VH1 Divas show when these
people wake up and realize that you've influenced many of
the artists who've been featured already. Take heart in the
fact that I believe, and your fans do too I'm sure, that so
many, many deserving artists have been overshadowed by those
that, well I can't say are undeserving, but maybe quite not
as much as the pioneers such as yourself. You shall be
rewarded. May it indeed be very</> soon. Pete |

I'm a young American singer & songwriter living in Paris.
I've had some chart success with a couple releases, but I
see that I've also surrounded myself with the wrong people.
I've wasted a lot of time with expensive French lawyers
negotiating contracts with major record label people here
that seem to go on holiday or be replaced just as I'm taking
my pen out to sign something. I sat in front of Schoolhouse
Rock as a baby, & a few days ago I happened across some of
the songs. I recognized immediately that your voice had too
much charm & personality not to have found its way into
other recordings. So I searched out your wonderful name &
finally ended up here. I admit to having been one of your
"Wow! Listen to that voice!" fans (interjection for emotion
& excitement :^P ) when I first arrived, but now it's
something else. After reading through your Message for the
Millenium & your other messages here, I really get that
you're a beautiful soul. Wish me luck finding such beauty in
the record label people/(future-buddhas) here in Paris. ;^)
