I bought the strangely melancholy LP "Sandy's Album Is Here At Last" back when it was first released. I had never heard of Sandy Hurvitz but on Zappa's endorsement I gave it a listen. It has been a deeply rooted favorite ever since. I am delighted to see that her career didn't end with that album and that she is still writing, recording and performing! I look forward to hearing where it all ended up.

Thank you RJ, Nancy, Freddy, Kevin, Carolyn and all, for your kind and encouraging entries in my guestbook! As we enter this Labor Day weekend it's like being on the precipice of a brave new world. A world without the Mardi Gras. It's hard to conceive. We must send nonstop prayers to all of the people of New Orleans and surrounding affected areas. Meanwhile the oil companies are having their last hurrah as fossil fuels are sure to be phased out (finally!) in the near future. I leave within the week for the release parties in PA & NY armed with the only two things I know of that can transform the darkness: my faith and my music! seminar) in New York way back in 1991 (i think). Anyways my name is
Kevin. I was there promoting my band Brilliant Orange from Vancouver
Canada. We talked a few times on the phone after NMS but then kinda
drifted apart. At that time you were living with your Mom (i think).
