'Julian Dawson is one of the few Brits to make himself truly
at home in the USA and particularly in the Nashville
community. He recorded five of his 18 albums stateside and
they include a duet with Lucinda Williams and collaborations
with such artists as Richard Thompson, Dan Penn, The Roches
and...Essra Mohawk. Essra and Julian wrote the haunting
'Shadow On The Moon' together (featured on Julian's 2002 CD
